Welcome to IT STAR Pty Ltd (“IT STAR”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

IT STAR provides information technology services including but not limited to:

  • Managed IT Services
  • IT Support and Help Desk Services
  • Microsoft 365 Services
  • Cloud Hosting Services
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Services
  • Cyber Security Services
  • Network and Firewall Management
  • Windows and Linux Server Management
  • Software Development
  • Web Development
  • Mobile Application Development
  • AI Solutions and Business Automation Services

2. Quotes and Proposals

All quotations and proposals remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may be adjusted where project scope changes or additional requirements arise.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and access required for service delivery.
  • Maintain valid software licences where applicable.
  • Keep passwords and credentials secure.
  • Notify IT STAR promptly of security incidents or service issues.

4. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within the agreed payment terms stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may result in suspension of services and may incur additional administrative or recovery costs.

5. Hosting and Cloud Services

While IT STAR takes reasonable steps to maintain service availability, uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, internet disruptions and circumstances beyond our control may affect availability.

6. Backups

Where backup services are provided, IT STAR will use reasonable efforts to perform and maintain backups. Clients remain responsible for verifying backup integrity and ensuring critical data is adequately protected.

7. Cyber Security

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. IT STAR provides security services based on industry best practices but cannot guarantee prevention of all cyber threats, data breaches or security incidents.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property developed by IT STAR remains the property of IT STAR until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment, ownership of custom-developed materials may transfer to the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IT STAR shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages including loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data or loss of opportunity.

IT STAR’s total liability shall be limited to the fees paid for the relevant service during the preceding three months.

10. Third-Party Services

IT STAR may utilise services supplied by third parties including Microsoft, hosting providers, telecommunications providers, cloud providers and software vendors. IT STAR is not responsible for failures or outages caused by third-party services.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate services in accordance with any applicable service agreement or written notice requirements.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
